Things to do in Malacca!
A'Famosa is perhaps Malacca’s best known sightseeing spot, it is a Portuguese fort built in 1511! It is one of the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia.
A Dutch church which is next to Stadhust which was an office/residential building for the dutch in the 1600s
Melaka Sultanate Palace
Nuril: My favourite place in Malacca!. It’s shows you the history of how Malaysia started with stories of the royals and legends from all those years ago and tbh it’s a beautiful place and very insta-worthy hehe.
Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum
Nuril: during the time of settlers, the chinese came over to Malaya and married locals which created the Baba and Nyonyas. Baba and Nyonyas are very much chinese heritage with a twist of Malay but it’s very distinctive to their own thing. The museum tells you of how they came about and their traditions and culture. The house itself is pretty :3
The best part of Jonker Street is the night market on Fridays and Saturdays that sells everything from tasty treats to cheap keepsakes
