Things to do in Langkawi!
Pantai Cenang Beach
While beach resorts abound, there are still a few brilliant beach shack bars left on Langkawi’s shores, many of which are on the sands of Pantai Cenang.
Cocktails flow freely down by the sea at Little Lylia’s Chillout Café. Flaming lamps on the beach and table-top candles add a touch of rustic romance. The sound of lounge music merges with the lapping of the waves and you can unwind with a shisha pipe or a plate of chicken satay in addition to cocktails.
Diving and Snorkelling
Scuba diving in Langkawi is an activity everybody can do and enjoy – experienced or amateur alike. With minimum equipment and preparation requirements, snorkelling especially can be enjoyed by all. All you need are fins and a mask to get a glimpse of the amazing undersea world.
Also known as Eagle Square, Dataran Lang is one of Langkawi’s best known manmade attractions, a large sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight. A sight that greets visitors to the island via ferry, the 12 metre-tall statue is one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments.
