Things to do in Kuala Lumpur!
Petronas Twin Towers
Visit the iconic petronas twin towers, you can also pay to go up to the top if you fancy! Just around the corner is the at Suria KLCC shopping mall and Aquaria (Aquarium)
KL Forest Eco Park
Nuril: It is a forest within the city with a canopy walk. It’ll be a nice place to have a picnic and quiet day away from the hustle
Central Market and Petaling Street
Nuril: For cheap malaysian goodies, put your bargaining skills to the test! Also just be careful for pick pocketers :)
KL Bird Park
Located in the serene and scenic Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens, it is only 10 minutes’ drive away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. It is home to more than 3,000 local and foreign birds of approximately 200 different species.
Nuril: WE HAVE PANDAS. New baby was born a couple months ago and she’s a big girl now.
Muzium Negara (National Museum)
Nuril: History and heritage of Malaysia so its good if they like cultural stuff
Nuril: It is an indian temple which Anthony Bourdain visited on his first trip to Malaysia. It has 200+ steps up into the temple but has a huge gold indian god statue which is breathtaking tbh so 10/10 recommend
Bukit Bintang / Pavilion Shopping Center
Nuril: Pavilion is a high end shopping mall but they’ve got good stuff there’s an arab restaurant at the very top floor thats AMAZING! Bukit bintang is the picadilly circus of KL but be careful again of pickpocketers and handbag snatchers! But loads of arab food in this area cause the arabs love bukit bintang!
Padang Merdeka (Independence Square)
Nuril: It's just a field infront of a gorgeous building but this is the spot where our first prime minister returns from London and tells the nation that we’re and independent state :3
Nuril: Popular mosque in KL and one of the prettiest!
Thean Hou Temple
Nuril: Chinese temple absolutely gorgeous and its something I recommend seeing as you don’t see them often.
Istana Negara (Royal Palace)
Nuril: It is now turned into a museum about the royals of Malaysia. Some states have royals and they take turns being head of state every 5 years!
